Thanks to the response. Here's the nuts and bolts of my problem. Repair manual states to check the brake actuator which which does test bad. Problem is when I check the 4wd actuator it checks out bad too! If both are bad I should be getting a 4 second alternating indicator light and I'm only getting a two second. Two actuators going bad at the same time? No changes by disconnecting one or the other.Does it hurt anything by pulling the electric motor covers off on the actuators? If I putI a new actuator how do I know its in the proper position when I install it? Here I thought I was a pretty smart guy. This has got me wondering. Repair manual is not helping much. Any help out there would be great.
