Default Nub Question , Bent Handle Bars Vulcan 900

Ok Im a nub , I admit it. Ive spent my life on Four wheelers and dirt bikes and now I have my first street bike, I got a 2006 Vulcan 900 classic. I made a nub move and dumped it in the grass. I broke off the right side mirror holder and damaged the head light. I have the headlight repaired and have a bracket coming to fix the mirror, but here ismy question. The ride side handle bar is bent down , probally about 2 inches down if I was making a good guess at it. I drove it down the road a bit and when Im going straight it seams as if I have the bike turned slightly to the right. when I try and straighten it out it goes left. Can this problem be coming from the bent handle bars? Or is it something more serious wrong in the front end? Has anyone had any luck straightening handle bars , or should I just buy a new set , the shop said they would charge me 40 bucks to put them on and they cost 120.00. Any advice you folks have for a nub like me Ill take , thanks in advance
