Hey all I’m new here. I just picked up a 94 klf400 not running or driving. So I got it home, got it running but noticed when it runs it has a heck of a clunking noise coming from the transmission area. (This is not while driving just sitting idle.)I checked the clutches, ok, but my main concern is I seem to have a bunch of slop in the gears. I pulled the engine and took the front drive case off so I have a direct link to the bevel gear and shift shaft, but I’m concerned. How much play should be on my bevel gear before it grabs another gear?
