Default 00 Prairie 400

I noticed a whining noise while pulling away for quite some time now and just recently heard a knock while doing about 40km/h and easing off the gas to lower speeds. The noise was coming from the lower right hand side of the bike and I assume that's where the belt is. Just yesterday I was riding along and the noise was getting worse and worse and just before I got home something snapped and the guad wouldnt go into gear. I have an idea that it might be the belt? but I'm not quite sure, if anyone has any ideas what it is, it would be appreciated.

Just open up the CVT cover (black palstic) and check it out. Like you said, it is probably a snapped belt which was hourglassed making a knocking noise before it finally got broken.
