I heat with wood and over the past couple of years I've been outfitting my Mule to help me better cut and haul firewood.

I started first with sideboards for increased capacity and mounts for my ax and mauls.



This year I got tired of hauling my saws and supplies on the floor and seat. They would slide around and it was hard to carry a passenger. Aftermarket products I saw were just to expensive so I made this shelf to hold everything. It sits on the top rung of the back safety screen and is supported on the sideboards. While I can't lift the bed with this on, it's easily detached by removing 7 screws.


It holds everything securely and still allows me to carry a full load of firewood.
