Default Emergency Brake

The emergency brake on my Mule 610 4x4 fails to engage. As I pull the lever no "clicks" are heard. If I hold the e-brake lever as if it was engaged, the vehicle is held in place. It appears that the screws to the wires are in-place. The brake release button on the end of the lever does not move. Does anyone have a suggested fix? Thanks.

Default RE: Emergency Brake

If you pull the left plastic panel off you can gain access to the handle. I would guess that you have a release mechanism sticking and needs a little lube. The panel can be removed with a flat screw driver to remove the plastic rivets and a phillips screw driver to remove the screws in the rear and bottom of it. If all else fails, and the lubing doesn't cure the problem, you had to remove the panel to remove the handle to replace it anyway.
Hope this helps,
Jody

I need this part for each side of my '04 Mule 550. Any help is appreciated.
