Default Brand new 21 mule Pro Fx bogging down

Took delivery of my 2021 mule. Driver unloaded off the trailer. We did a walk around then he left. I cranked it up and started down the driveway. Taking it easy to break it in. When I get up to around 9-10 mph it starts to bog down and kind of lunges forward. What the heck? What is going on. Help!

New here. I have a 2020 Pro Fx EPS LE. Mine would do the same thing unless the driver side seat belt was fastened. You can fasten it behind you if you don’t want to use it. I bought a $12 bypass device off Amazon for mine. Easy install - unplug connector on seat belt & plug in the bypass device. Works great. Hope this helps.

Did the same thing myself - lol. Funny thing is that it is not documented anywhere in the owners manual. Had to exercise my Google-fu to find the answer before I resorted to calling the dealer.

What model do you have ? We bought ours to replace a 12 year old Gator and love it. Use it around the farm hauling feed, hay, firewood, etc. & for hauling the grandkids around. Have added some accessories to make it more useful - front brush guard, rear bumper, front & rear cv guards, windshield, rear work lights. & outside rear view mirrors. Would like to have a power bed lift but can’t stand the price.

The only thing I have found that I don’t like about it is the engine braking. Works fine up to a point & then just sort of pops out of gear and freewheels. Takes some getting used to when operating in rough terrain. Inherent problem with all cv driven utv’s from what I understand.

Default 21 pro fx

I lread every inch of the owners manual before humbling myself and calling the dealership.Love it so far. Had a Polaris atv but needed something that can haul things around the farm without too much compaction on the pastures. I also wanted something to haul grandkids if my daughters would hurry up. Lol.
