Default 3010 no power after valve adjustment

I bent a pushrod from being lazy and not adjusting valves so replaced and adjusted all 4. I feel good about lash and mule starts right up and idles fine and engine sounds great - no pecking now. Prior to bending pushrod it lacked the power it has had in the past but would go when hitting pedal. Immediately after new pushrods it acts like it is not getting fuel. Once you pull choke it will rev up briefly but Idles fine but if you give it gas you have to pull choke out or it will go dead. So i put a new carb on it that I’ve had for a while - no difference. Still have to pull choke out in order for it to pull itself. Fuel filter is full of fuel and i put new plugs in. The governor has never been messed with on the mule and i thought maybe it was the Seafoam i put in the fuel tank a while back ? Can’t figure this one out. Prior to bending the pushrod it didn’t run near as strong as it used to but would pull a trailer full of firewood. If the valves are adjusted right .010 snug then i can’t figure this out. Any suggestions is appreciated
