Default 2510 Carb or Fuel Pump Problem

Do not know the year model as I cannot find the VIN. When I got this machine the fuel lines had water in them. Drained it and rebuilt the carb. Sometimes it will start somtimes it will not. When it does start I cannot get it to idle without the choke pulled. It will run this way and take the throttle until the engine is warm. Thought I had it figured out when I opened the jet on the outside of the carb between the throttle and choke. Not sure which jet this is but when I tightened it the machine would die. The schematic I found did not show which jet was which. Just had them all listed as "main jet." I noticed today that it seemed to run like it was getting a little fuel then died. Almost mimics a stuck float needle. But the parts are new. I have also soaked the carb in the Berrymans. I cannot figure this thing out. Any ideas?

I am new here but that has all the classic signs of the low speed circuit in the carb being clogged. When you soaked the carb in cleaner did you wash it down good with clean water afterwards and spray it out and all channels with compressed air?

Thanks for the information. After soaking I cleaned it with compressed can carb cleaner then blew out the channels with compressed air. As far as I could tell all the channels blew clear unless there is one I couldn’t see. I also used the small wires on a cutting torch tip cleaner to chase them. Can you put me in contact with a schematic that will show me which one is the low speed circuit so I can focus on it? Thanks again. This at least gives me a starting point.
