Started out to check cameras Tuesday afternoon and cranked the new Mule up. 2024 model with 26 hours. The engine began revving and rpm's stayed high. I was doing nothing to the machine. A few seconds later the rpm's came back down but not all the way to idle. Could not put the machine in any gear, grinding occurred. Checked the throttle cable from the pedal to where it goes back to engine, no debris or anything. After fooling around with it, the rpm's came all the way down to idle, I don't think it was anything I did. I got it in gear and drove fine for about 5 minutes. I turned it off and then back on, idled so high I could not put it in gear. Had to use the winch to pull it up on the trailer to take to local Kawi dealer. When I explained the problem they said there's probably some stick jammed in there or something. Not the case, I checked for that. They told me they weren't backed up so they'd get right to it. Here it is Friday so I called the dealer and they say they can't find anything wrong. Very frustrating. Anybody else have this experience or hear of anything similar? Air filter is clean. Temps have been in the mid 80's.
