Last week my mule died while driving and wouldn’t restart. Since, I have changed fuel filter, fuel pump (didn’t really need) and carburetor and for kicks changed the spark plug.

I can get it to run on ether but it will not run on its own. Any suggestions?

 

I'm interested in response as well, I have new Carb new fuel pump and filter. when I pour gas in carb it will turn over and run for about 4 seconds then sputter and die. What other then carb would cause this? maybe vacuum line to the fuel pump.

 

FOLLOW UP-- In my case it was water in the fuel tank. After draining the tank, I guesstimated about 20% of the full gas tank was water. We only have one gas station in my town so am certain they were the culprit! Good luck to others with similar issues

 

I rerouted my fuel using a gas can as I thought I had alot of junk in the gas tank. But I'm still having issues. I am soaking the carbs for 2 days now hopefully I'll put them back together and itll be fine. But I'm thinking its not the carb.
