Stx 1100 quits at high throttle/ rpm
Hi,
My 99 stx 1100 was running fine and still is. At above about 5500 rpm or when you pull past about 75 percent throttle position it boggs down and dies. I can hold less than 5500 and make sure I don't pull throttle full open and it runs smooth. Idles and stars great too.
Any suggestions? Coil? Carb problem? Not sure where to start.
