First off id like to say a little about myself. Ive been riding sit downs for a few years and over the summer I was helping a friend find a water leak in his seadoo and he was like ill bring my stand up. Its a 96 750 and after 10 minutes on it I feel in love and had to get one. I ended up getting a 87 650 for a good price it hasnt been in water for a few years but that was fine by me. Compression on one side is a little low but i havent really didnt much research on it. Im going off a seadoo background when its time for a top end it usually needs complete rebuild and dont really wanna do that with the 650 until I have to. I plan to install a primer kit, rebuild carbs, bildge pump and a teather cord what are the different models and how do you tell the difference? Ive got the title but the bmv has the model messed up its listed as a jl650-a1 sc when I go to look that up its coming up as a 91 x2 sport cruiser. The last 2 numbers in my HIN are 87 so I know its a 87 and airbox cover says 650 and it has a keihin carb if that helps. Thanks any help I appricate.
