Default Just got a 95 750ss been sitting since 99

I've only had two 94 seadoo 580 for a yeas, so I'm new to ski's. I only paid 200 bucks for the ski and titled trailer. Great shape, been kept under car port. I am very good at automotive repairing and can work my way around these 2 strokes. So what am I looking at having to do? I know the carb has to come off for rebuild.I'd rather just just pull the single off and swapfor atwin set-up. That will work right? New plugs, filters. I haven't checked compression yet. Should the rings go bad from just sitting? Iwhould thinkto lube the cylinders up a bit before I try to turn it over. What else should I be looking at for this to be ready for the water?

welcome to KF. rings should not go bad just from sitting. they also make a fogging spray to put into the cylnders before you start it. as far the other stuff don't know.
