Default 1997 STX1100 - after a few minutes of riding, it looses power

Took me a while to figure this out. The Jetski would run really good when you first start it, then after a few minutes of riding, it feels like it’s cavitating or like it’s starving for fuel. We fill it up with gas and it would run good then same thing after a few minutes. We let it cool down for a little bit then it runs good for a bit then it slows down again.

Carburetors have been rebuilt and synchronized. New fuel filter. Rebuilt the jet pump. It’s not over heating. Compression is great on all 3 cylinders. Only have 130 hours on this Jetski.

I finally came to a conclusion that it must be electrical. While running rough, I disconnected the spark plug wires one at a time. Whenever I removed 2 or 3, the engine dies. When I removed 1, nothing happens and continues to run rough. This led me to believe that it was the coil pack since I have new spark plugs installed. Replaced the ignition coil 1 and it’s been running great since.
