Hi I am repairing a ZX 10rr 2006 model and I have to replace the damaged ignition switch. Can someone tell me what the consequences are of doing this to the ECU,/CDI immobilizer

 

Your manual should tell you on how to do this . I personally have not done what you are doing but I have read where the key and the ecu have to be read and programmed by the dealer. Not sure on that being accurate. (and I am away from my manual) Hit up zx10r.net and do a search over there. Good luck and welcome to KF
