Default waxing

I have a new 06 ninja and it has the mat blue finish on the bike. I was wondering do you wax the bike? because the owners mannual says the finish will come off if you rub the paint to much. Don't want to hurt my paint. Please help thanks.

Yeah I use honda polish on my titanium 636. This winter the rest of my paint will be done and i am having my entire bike cleared. Dont use wax on the flat finish!!!!!!

THANKS GUYS FOR RESPONDING. My bike looks the silver 05 model. But mine is Blue i love the color and the flat finish. I guess just wash it and dry it will work for me. Did you hurt your finish with waxing the bike?

I don't know if it'll hurt the matte finish or not, but Plexus is awesome stuff! It actually took all the swirl marks out of my windscreen.
