Default Warming up - is this normal?

Hi guys!

i have a kawasaki BN125 eliminator. Recently - I don't know whether it's just the major cold - the bike has been taking a good 15 minutes to warm up before i can ride.
i've been leaving it idling for a while, then when i go to pull away - either with the choke on or off - as soon as i start to ease the clutch on it's as though the bike has no drive chain attached! it starts to die almost instantly.
I've tried actually pushing the bike and running alongside it and then start to engage the clutch, but it still starts to die, so it doesn't seem to be a problem with the bike not being able to move.

Like I said after about 10-15 mins the bike is fine and will ride as normal.

could it be a problem with oil? petrol? the mechanics?
should i just go and get it serviced now?

any thouights/advice is much apreciated

I would go through the service part of it first. Just to get a baseline lets say.

read up on it and check everything out to make sure its all working good.

at the same time this doesn't sound like its your only problem but the colder it gets the longer it takes for things to warm up so just be patient with it let it warm up little bit but sounds like ya need to get somethin else checked out man

no.... as a matter of fact it seemed like the choke actually made no difference to the bike warming up whether it was on or off

hoever it now appears to be sorted -- the guys at the shop lubed up the clutch and swingarm switches just in case and the next day gave it a full service and so far no more problems

thanks for all the tips/advice
