I have a 2003 vulcan and headlight comes on when it starts but recently about one every four times now. Thinking it might be the headlight relay that is in the junction box is that possible any feedback would help have checked all other connections

 

Have you checked out your Reserve Lighting Device? and check your starter button to see if it is still showing continuity while running. (the contacts may have some gunk in there or something or a weak spring)

thanks for replying I did check that I think I have eliminated down to the headlight realay that is sealed in the junction box no way to test except buying a new fuse box. Just my thought for now. It still does work when I hit the starter button after it starts which seemes weird.
