Very confused - Won't start! - KE100

Default here for exactly the same thing i just cant effing work it out :(

got the same issue here have a 94 KE100 B12 now ive done a full rebuild of the carby that didnt work the only other thing i can possibly think of is right under to left hand chain cover panel thingymebob their is a wire leading into a tiny black thingy being held on by two scews.... under that plate is a round piece of brass or copper which idiot me pressed and snapped and since then it never started again and for the life of me i can not find any info at all online about that specific part .... any ideas would be awesome

I know what that part is, if it has the brush inside thats like a steel color its the neutral switch. It tells you when you're in neutral
