I posted before about a rearr tire for my zzr1200 - asking about the Diablo Strada. Apparently the Metzler RoadTec Z6 is the same tire, made side-by-side with the Pirelli, but in stock at my local cycle gear, and $10.00 cheaper. Now for the ? - I was told that the handling characteristics off this tire won't 'act nice' with the OE Dunlop D220 I have on the front (doesn't need replacing just yet, and I can't afford to do both). Any comments/ideas as to the truth of this, or is it salesmanship to sell 2 tires instead of one? My riding is mostly commuting, but I'm going to be learning my bikes limits more once I do replace the front (I'll match the Metzler then), which is why I'm going to a slightly more sporting tire.
