I just bought a 1978 Kawasaki kz200. it's a museum piece with only 2900 miles on it. I just discovered a problem with it.. when I twist the throttle the engine doesn't respond like the cable is broken, also the throttle doesn't spring back like there's a spring broken. any ideas on what to check? where to check? the owner gave me an extra cable, but this might not be the problem because there's an adjustment where the cable goes into the throttle assembly & when I unscrew it the cable doesn't pull out like it's connected on both ends.
