Stupid question does a 2006 636 have a storage compartment

I would recommend measuring the proper amount at service, then making a note as to correct sight glass level.
FWIW, when the manufacturer specs 3.75L, that does not mean to use 4-quart containers of oil. Bad things happen when you over-fill.
