Hi I just bought a 94 zx6e it has 20k on it. It has been sitting for seven years in a garage because it needed new carbs, the previous owner had the carbs never put them on today I installed them my question is how can I hand crank the motor I put some marvel mystery oil in the cylinders so I would like to hand crank it a couple of times to lube the piston rings. Good move on prelubing the rings, pistons and cylinders prior to hand cranking the engine over. Should be able to remove the right side timing cover, and hand turn the crank that way. Plugs removed, some MO injected into the cylinders, then slowly hand turn the crank. I have injected diesel into the entire engine before to let it sit and soak.
