Hello all , this is my first post but I am looking for some help. I have a 1992 ninja zx7 I noticed the other day the long part of the needle on the speedomter broke off. I am wondering is the needle can be replaced or do i have to buy a new speedometer? Any info would be nice and if I need a new speedometer where i could buy one. ebay isnt the place to buy one for me , looking for somewhere else, thank you . While Im at it, sometimes the speedometer when Im at a steady speed like 60 will race up to like 100 or higher but comes back down , anyone help me out with this .. thank you again ...

 

www.bikebandit.com i had the same bike way back when and the cable gave me a bunch of crap. as far as the needle, it is possible to have a specialty repair shop replace it personally, i wouldnt attempt it on my own. as far as the needle racing, mine did that too, especially on hard exceleration and it would go to normal when i was cruising at idle. never seen it while i was cruising tho.
