Default Spark Plug Info ??

With all the mods on the bikes, it seems like spark plugs are a neglected topic. I searched for a previous post on the subject, but could not find one. I run 92 octane, sprockets, full exhaust system, jetted, etc. Wouldn't a good platinum plug help?? I am running NGK now. Would a platinum +4, or a racing spark plug be better? Don't get me wrong, I am not complaing about performance, but if the performance would get just a little better at least, wouldn't it be worth it. Any info or experience would be appreciated. Thanx...

Nevermind... did a little researching online and found the NGK Iridium IX. Improved acceleration, etc. This is what they say about them...

Iridium IX Spark Plugs are the most technologically advanced high performance plugs available. Featuring a 0.6 mm iridium center electrode tip, they offer superior ignitability without sacrificing durability. The tapered ground electrode increases flame kernel expansion, while the superior heat range design is ideally suited to the demands of high performance environments. Specially designed to meet the needs of serious enthusiasts, Iridium IX Spark Plugs offer outstanding acceleration, high fuel efficiency and long life. When you demand the most from your engine, rely on the proven performance of NGK Iridium IX Spark Plugs.

Sounds like what I was lookin' for.

PLease still feel free to comment on experiences... that woul b great..Thanx.

To be honest, I switched from the recommended plugs on my ZRX which were 10.00 a plug to a 1.99 plug. I felt no difference on the butt dyno Not to say it has the same power buut I could not tell anything. Still runs hard and smokes most anything out there to 70 mph[sm=wootwoot.gif]
