Default Rebuild, sell, or part out?

Greetings! New here!

Just obtained a motorcycle the other day. It's pretty beat.

It looks complete but has been sitting for awhile and needs to be completely restored. But I'm not a pro that's why I go to the forums, how much work is involved with restoring one of these?

Also, just want to hear your guys' first thoughts when seeing it and what I should do with it. Garden ornament?

You will have a lot of time and money into this gpz 550. Would it be worth it to you?

At my pace, a year or two and a lot of money. That poor thing was put away wet.

Would be worth it if it was a minor issue but from our couple of minutes tinkering with it, the transmission isn't good. So, it's a parts bike now. If I really wanted a bike I'd just buy one.

DOES ANYONE WANT PARTS? Make a wishlist!
