Default rain bad?

How bad is leaving your bike out in the rain?
I'm mostly worried about Mechanically and electrically?
I guess it doesnt really matter because its a used bike and I dont
care about my paint job right now haha

Well Eazy E, first of and most importantly, its YOUR bike, who cares if it used, respect her,and she'll respect you, moving forward depending on your location you might have rust as being a problem, Kawi, has a great waterproof coupler and it has to be ALOT of rain to make any diffrence not saying that it wont, but long as you dont park in in the lake im pretty sure youll be fine, invest in a blue .99 cent tarp from your local wal mart.

The wire coupler, any where the wiring harness meet a componet, they ALL over the bike your fine, waters not going to frog aroung the bike, just put a tarp over it if that makes ya feel better. After its done raining take and wipe the bike down as to prevent water spots and rust

Do you have any other alternatives besides just leaving the ride sitting out in the weather?

invest in some TC-11

stuff is amazing and lubricating and preventing rust. its also harmless to paint/plastic/rubber

http://tc-11.com/

can get it at ace hardware also.

that TC-11 stuff looks great... I'll pick some up before I bring my bike up to college. (there's nowhere inside to keep it inside...)
