I got a 2007 250r a few days ago... im a beginner and got maybe a little too confident. Long story short I fell off the bike goin about 25 mph... The bike got a little scratched... nothing too bad though. Now I can't get the bike in neutral. Its ALWAYS in gear. I can roll it by holding down the clutch, but no neutral. WHat could I have done to the bike? It fell on the brake side so I'm not understanding how I could have screwed up the neutral position so I'm thinking its like a safety mechanism or something that triggered because I spilled out. I also noticed when I was riding it back to my apartment it felt clunky and was kind of putt putting at low speeds more than normal. I checked the little switch for the gas under the bike and it was pointing down like it was supposed to so it wasnt that. Is there anything I can do thats an easy fix or do I need to bring it in to the shop?

 

id like to help ya but i have no idea...

check the chain tension, could be messed up sprockets... al i can think of.

 

btw a chain should have around an inch and a half of play.

 

you may have to recheck your clutch adjustments.
