Default Question about my 09 zx10r clutch!

So sometimes when i hop on the bike and ride, and i lay on the throttle in first and second when i go to shift into third its stuck in second, and i really got to give it a good lift to get it into third. just wondering if anyone else has experienced this.

I'd check your clutch adjustment first. When you say "stuck" does it make noise or just feel like the clutch isn't disengaging the tranny. Might check your clutch pak next; pretty easy to get at. Look at the discs and springs and work the lever a few times to see how much play you have. If the bike has been severely abused (hey, it happens) might replace the discs and springs. (Doubtful on an '09, but... It would probably slip in all the gears.) If that isn't it, get into the shifting forks.
I'm no expert on the new stuff, but this is where I would start if you brought it to me. Start simple; get progressively more invasive. Good luck!

Have you tried shifting without the clutch? The gearbox should slip right in as long as you release the tension on the gears by bliping the throttle. If you can shift up easily when the throttle is released then I would say check the clutch adjustment, if its still tough then it may be internal. Good Luck!

no it doesnt make noise, it just doesnt shift into 3rd smoothly, it seems like its stuck and you really gotta lift your foot to get it to shift.

You have a brand new ride, take it back to the dealer.
