Default Push-Start?

Hey guys. So, my 97 ZX-6 decided not to start last night. (The first day I get my M class, and the thing dies...that’s my luck...) Anyways, we where able to push-start it a couple of times last night, and then it worked fine. Could this be a battery issue? I noticed the lights would dim when I tried to start it, but that’s all that would happen. Any ideas on what might be causing this? Thanks a lot guys!

The battery's always a good place to start but you should get a multimeter.
Attach the leads to the battery
Does it register around 12 volts?
ow rev to 4000 RPM
Does it go up to around 14 - 15 volts?
If so - I believe the battery is ok and
the charging system is ok
You'll then have to look at the ignition system

1+ on a battery also.

Test it if you have a multimeter.
