powertrain swap

would a 600r from a 2000 transfer over to a 1998 kawa 600 r with out any problems would appericate the help

Not sure but I doubt it. But you could double check the fiche numbers possibly.

to tell your the truth the motor looks identical and even comes with the frame and all it all looks the same

Measure the critical dimensions between the motor mount attachment points to be sure. It may look the same, but if their are dimensional differences, it may be a lot of trouble to swap the motors.
