Hey All,
I just got a 1989 KZ1000P. It's a pretty modified former police bike. I'm looking to get a rear seat for it. It has the rack that the utility box would screw onto if it was still a cop bike. I have seen the same bike on eBay with a rear seat so I know it exists. But when I went to the salvage shop that normally has everything, the guy told me that if I get a line on one to let him know because everybody who buys this bike has the same request for a rear seat.

Any ideas? I live in Portland, Oregon. It seems like they have to be out there and they should be easy to install, no?

Have you tride Kawasaki OEM parts. I am sure back in the day, a long time ago, they sold her with a rear seat.

If not buy the utillity box, paint her black and white, put a gold star on the tank and have some fun with the speeding cagers. LOL

BTW pretty nice looking I bet she has some ***** too.

 

This isnt going to help much, but there is a place that makes seats that have the rear seat fold down when not in use. They make them to fit pretty much anybike. (as far as i know) Hopefully some one has seen them and can give you a name. I just wanted to post this until i can get the time to find the name for you.

Way back when I had mine,I swaped out the seat with one from a LTD 1000.Bolted right on!
