I've got a 2002 bayou 220 thats been one hell of a trusty little quad. Recently i've been having some problems with it, had to replace the head gasket, had hell with the cam timing and now that ive finally got her back together and running it's giving me more problems. It fires right up and idles fine until it warms up and i start to ride it, then when i get to the higher rpm's the motor acts like it has a rev limiter and cuts out. It also backfires and popswhen i let off the throttle and downshift, and when i come to a fairly quick stop it stalls out on me. I cannot figure out what the problem is, if anyone has any idea it'd be much appreciated. Thanks

 

double check camtiming, and look for a vacum leak... lets start with the basicsi guess, asuming your carb is in decent shape?
