Please please help bought a new kxf250 2016 , not from a shop from a Kawazaki sponsored rider, he had 3, i done 7 hrs and the clutch went, put in a new clutch with uprated springs this lasted 3.5 hrs thought I hadent adjusted free play well enough so just put its 3 rd one in a it lasted 25 minutes. Oil levels high, correct oil, correct free play, never been so disappointed in my whole life, chain and sprockets lasted 5 hrs but I cAn handle that. I'm a average rider had bikes for years. Any ideas as the love for motocross is going fast for me and I'm not getting any younger. Oil and filter every 2 rides. P.s I would hold off buying this bike for now

 

Were the plates burnt? Everything that you have mentioned about this new ride would be a nightmare. Even the 5hrs for chain and sprocket is unacceptable.
