Does anybody know where we can find the specific manufacturer paint codes for Kawi?

My buddy does automotive touch-up and has all the tools to mix/match paint and spray. I got some rash which is quite minor on my fairing and it would be hella cheap to just respray then to buy new plastic. Its not cracked but has some scratches and would only have to pay for paint.

If I can't find the paint code then looks like the entire bike may become flat black haha.

Hmmmmm........bummer!!!

I found that color-rite since the Kawasaki site directs you to them for paint BUT I'm just looking for the paint code. My friend has everything to mix and match paint. If I had the code its just plugging it into PPG to find out quantity of colors required to make it.

For the base and clear from them it would cost $160!!! Cheaper to go all flat black haha.

The last I seen from colorite, they give you the code.

 

yep, I just checked it and they do give you the code...

Interesting, that they STILL use the same color on the 2009 zx10 as they did on mine. lol

 

I got a Passion Red 650R. That color has no code on colorite...its one of the few that doesn't .

 

well, that sucks.

If you have a friend at the parts store...lol...one of our local parts stores, automotive, has that lil camera that they can take a picture of your paint and match it. After they do the matching they can give you what all color codes, etc it takes to match the paint.
