Default Ninja gas tank cap

A little help please!! I have a 1992 ZX-11. The gas cap lock froze up on me and was breaking keys left and right! I want to keep the original tank and replace the cap and lock. I've checked with Dennis Kirk and Chaparral for a replacement, but no help found. Any suggestions would be most appreciated. (I'm really not looking for another keyed cap, I've seen those on ebay and amazon.)

here is a keyless cap setup. PRO-TEK KEYLESS GAS CAPS from TRICKED OUT CUSTOM CYCLES

I am sure that there are others out there like Vortex, maybe hit up muzzy's?

If you want to keep a lock on it, you may have to hit up your locksmith to rebuild the lock if it is not all buggered up. They may be able to come up with a better idea even. Good luck.

Agree with Drag^, I replaced my zx9 cap with an aftermarket screw-on job, as well. (Dennis Kirk has some Vortex on closeout right now.) After a few years, the rubber O-ring which seals the cap will rot and need replaced, but otherwise, they are much more convenient; no fumbling with keys, scratching the tank, etc.
