a wire was disconnected. it made the bike think it was still in gear... just connected it and everything worked out fine... thanx guyz

I'm imagining what would happen if that mechanism failed, that is if the bike let you ride out with the kickstand down. That would make for a hell of a pivot if it stayed up in a corner, gah! [
