Default New Voyager Oil Pressure Light

Hello Everyone,

Well I made the switch from my Harley to a 2018 New Kawasaki Voyager (Brand new). I just got it yesterday and during my breakin ride at about the 70 Mile mark on the Odometer My Oil Pressure light came on. I slowed down to pull off to the side of the road and it it went back off and then back on again. I shut off the bike and called the dealership. They said that if the oil level is good and the bike wasn't hot or making any odd sounds to ride it home and call them back the next day.

The Oil level was fine and when I started the bike again the oil light was off. I road it home with no issue and this morning I road it to the dealership for them to check it out. I am now up to 150 miles on the Odometer and still the light has not come back on. The dealership said there was no need to take it back in because if its running right they will not be able to determine what happened but if it happened again they would take a close look.

They said their best guest is that there might have been some sort of air bubble from the prep they did on the bike. They said they always fill the oil filter with oil when installing but it might have just been a brief moment of air that dropped the pressure and they think I will be fine from there.

As a Harley owner that is used to dealing with issues happening to the bike all the time I am now paranoid about this bike. Any advice, input or insight on this issue is greatly appreciated.
