Default Need help with a 92 ZX6D

My zx6d runs great, but when I use the right blinker it won't flash and it kills the engine. It is just like i hit the kill switch but the switch is still in the run spot. I was woundering if it could be a rely or something. Anybody know what it could be?

Well, either the previous owner decided to play a mean trick on you, or, there may be a short circuit within the wires running your right sideturn signals. It's hard to say on my side of the computer screen. If you're good with a multimeter and schematics, dig into the wiring to find the problem. Otherwise, you'd better take it to your local shop.

I agree with mark on this one. It sounds like you have a major ground some where on the bike if it 's only when you use that turn signal then check the wiring on that side for the signal and hopefully you'll find the problem.
