Default My stupid problem

Hey guys, I still have the same stupid problem.

Bike- 2005 zzr (2001 zx6-r)

Problem- Will not start with clutch in, has to be in neutral, clutch out. Kickstand up or down does not appear to matter.

Things I know- It is not the switch on the clutch, it appears to be working fine, I put a meter on it.

Things I don't know- What is the solution, kickstand switch? Where is the damn thing?

Thanks in advance,

Rick

So you have verified that p/n 27010 is good.

I think the stand switch is pn 2710. I don't think it would make a difference with this problem. Any other ideas? I remember another guy here a few months ago said the switch was stuck, I am not so lucky it seems. [:@]

so jumper out the kickstand switch since it is doing nothing for you either way, and test again.

indeed.. all those "safety circuit" switches are in series.

well, the neutral and kickstand are in series, the clutch switch should be in parallel around the neutral switch..
