I just bought a 2208 1600 mean streak and there is a velcro strap in the storage compartment that appeared to hold some thing. Does any one know what it was?? The picture in the owners manual (witch the dealer ship gave me the wrong one, for 1600 classic) showns a small round cannister. Any information would be appreaciated.

 

generally that rubber band is to hold the tool kit in place. Every Ninja and Kz has been that way at least. Have you checked out the fiche on your model to confirm or deny that information?
