Mechanical Seal

Default Mechanical Seal
I have a '99 ZX6R, seems like coolant is leaking into the oil...
I was wondering has anyone ever changed a mechanical seal? If so, is it simple, problematic, any special procedures, etc.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Which mechanical gasket are you referring to?

The mechanical seal is between the water pump and fuel pump. It is not shown in the pics you posted, but it is behind the impeller of the water pump, and has a spring component.
