Default Making your rims shine..

well I know people usually get there rims "Chrome Dipped" and that would look good on my 05 636.

But, I know that its not cheap..plus i hear it could through off the balance ..?

How hard would it be to polish up your own rims? Im not talking about the whole rim, just the outside lip.

Any thoughts?
