2001 zx6r sprockets

Default 2001 zx6r sprockets

Hi guys , i am replacing my chain and sprockets on my bike but i am having some trouble getting the front one off , i am sure the correct torque point on this sprocket is at the very back were the washer folds over it slightly , but i cant seem to get it to move i have locked up the back wheel so that it doesnt do free spins on the sprocket but alas i am stuck ,, it is getting near the good weather over here and i need my bike back or i will die of bordem plz guys any ideas ........cheers

I can not help you much here, mine was all ready done when I bought it. But, be patient, and some one will help you out. There are some smart people on here...

Hi bro, that nut was a bi*ch on mine and I ended up using a cheater bar, a five foot pipe that fits over the breaker bar for extra leverage.
Did you fold the locking ring down flat?

yeah the washer is flat m8 , the bugger just doesnt want to move put the rear on just now and the new chain ( broke my chain linker as well , they triple s chains are solid lol ) so now it is off to the paint shop for a new color and decals will try it again when i strip it down , cheers guys ...

See if you know someone with access to an air or electric impact gun. A friend or nearby garage. Make sure the threads are standard clockwise and not reverse LH thread.

CHEERS FOR THE HELP GUYS ... it is going into my mates tyre garage when it is in for the respray , he is going to try the air gun on it see if the bugger moves lol.. great site you guys have going here keep up the good work,,, Big Jim from Scotland ............
