Default lowering zx-6r

am a new rider and need some help lowering my 2007 kawasaki 6r. I'm already aware of lowering links for the rear but would like to know what other parts i need to lower the front. Would it be better let the dealer do it or is this a possible do-it-yourself? and how low should i go? I'm nearly 5'7 in height. thanks.

Set your sags first, that will help. The ride height can also be adjusted by adding or removing shims on the shock and raising or lowering the forks in the trees. They do offer lowering links also.

yeah the 07 sits way high. it feels like i'm riding an elephant.i've asked the dealer and except the parts, total labor is$150 including lowering the front end and cutting the stand. i think it's a gooddeal. let me know what youguys think.
