Default Lowering

Hi i just bought a 2002 ZR-7S and i am...vertically challanged, well the bike is just a touch too tall for me. (about half of my foot touches when i am comfortably seated) and i was wondering if there was any way to bring the bike down just a bit without buying a lowering kit, i live in the twisties and i dont want to disrupt the dynamics of the bike or sacrifice the ground clearance i just need like half an inch is there anyway for me to lower the bike without getting a kit or modding the whole suspension too heavily

setting the sag via the spring on the rear shock and dropping the fork tubes a tiny bit to level the bike is a free lowering job.

i've seen ppl also make their own links. it seems to be (not sure on EVERY bike tho) that a general rule of thumb is every .100" of dogbone extension give you 1" of lowering. thats a safe start if you wish to experiment.

good luck, and welcome to KF!
