My engine seems very loud @ around 4000 rpms. Is this normal?

[sm=welcomesign.gif] to the forums...Since you have a slip on, I wouldn't worry about the noise. A loud bike is a safe bike, cause now they can hear you!

Just a loud engine in general. Not exuast loud ,maybe valves and moving parts in the motor. I realize the motors now have very thin skins for the weight so that could be all it is. I used to have a Kawi Jetski that was kinda loud too.
