Default New 2 Bros exhaust is loud as!!!!

Hi Guys
Just installed my new 2 bros exhaust and love the look and the sound except its really loud....
I have the P1 tip on it but I really need to consider some more silencing.
Any Ideas. I was thinking some steel wool....
Cheers

If you didnt want it loud why did you get a new muffler?

I put the QCI on my two bros M7 and it significantly lowered the noise.

I was looking for the link, was having trouble finding it but now i got it:

If this doesn't help maybe try the KLX300 muffler??

Steel wool and ceramic packing don't do much for most mufflers, and what they do accomplish doesn't usually last that long. During many years of having Supertrapps and other brands of mufflers on XR's, KLR's, and KLX's, you get a little respite with a repack, but it never did last long on any of my bikes. Whatever mechanical baffles, tubes, and discs a given exhaust has seems to offer the noise level you'll generally get over the long haul.

I don't know, EMS..."loud" is often in the ear of the beholder when taken outside the realm of a db meter. Of course some pipes are too loud, period, but there's a lot of real estate when preference is considered. The stock exhaust is a freakin' pin hole outfit, and IMO any aftermarket exhaust gives the impression of loud at the very least.

I must say that is one thing about this forum. If you read and search or ask, you can find out just about anything. Thats why I have the Q4 and not the two brothers. Thanks to all of you for the help you have provided, even if you didn't know it.
