I have an 80 KZ550C. I got the bike with a spare jug from a 4 cyl 650cc that looks like the same bolt points and a set of 650cc cams. Can I throw a set of 650 pistons and rings on it with the 650 parts and tune the carbs out to higher fuel mixture and have it run? I am wondering if the timing marks are the same, if the pistons would line up with the crankshaft, and if the carbs can put out enough fuel. Any insight or a link to good KZ forums would be nice. Thanx!
